Increasing procurement costs, changing resource and increased competition have resulted in increased specialization of forest product manufacturing facilities.  Today many mills depend on a specific log mix to maximize efficiency and product volume, and many of these mills are willing to pay a premium price for logs pre-sorted to meet their specifications.

Our log yard operations allow forest product manufacturers to purchase the desired log mix (spp, grade, length) that best meet their needs rather than a broad mix of logs as traditionally supplied from a timber sale.
